Computers for Learning: How you can help bridge the digital divide

Computers for Learning (CFL) is a nonprofit organization that provides refurbished computers and free Internet service to qualifying families in participating independent school districts. State and federal agencies, private industry, nonprofit organizations and school districts donate serviceable PCs that are then reconditioned and loaded with software by volunteer technicians.

The Department of Aging and Disability Services (DADS), a CFL partner, provides employees to assist in the expansion of the program, warehouse space and computer maintenance support for donated computers.
